Privacy policy

Media Organizer works on your own Wix site and keeps no copy of your files, names or folders. This policy explains what the app reads, what it writes, what it sends to the AI service that names your files, and the short usage and error logs we keep to support you.

Effective date: October 20, 2026

Summary

  • The app reads your Media Manager (file names, web addresses, folders and dates) and your site’s public pages, to work out where each file is used.
  • It writes only file names and folders in your Media Manager, and one collection in your site’s CMS, Media Organizer state: your settings, a saved review draft and the undo information.
  • To describe and name your images, the app sends each image’s web address (URL), its file name and where it’s used to Anthropic, which runs the Claude AI. If you use the AI assistant, your message and a summary of your folders go there too. Anthropic doesn’t train its models on API data.
  • We keep no copy of your files, names or folders. To find bugs and support you, the app keeps short usage and error logs (your site ID, plan, counts, durations and error codes, never file names, images or text), for 90 days. The app and the logs are hosted by Wix.
  • The app reads no data about your site’s visitors or members, and adds no scripts or tracking code to your live site.
  • We don’t sell or share personal information and don’t use it for advertising.

Who we are

Media Organizer (“the app”) is developed by Yairix Studio (“we”, “us”). For the limited personal information we process ourselves (described below), we are the data controller:

Scope

This policy covers the Media Organizer app for the Wix Media Manager and the pages about it on this website. It applies to Wix site owners who install the app (“you”) and their collaborators. Wix’s own processing is covered by Wix’s privacy policy, and Anthropic’s processing by Anthropic’s, not by this one.

Data the app uses

DataWhyWhere it goes
Your Media Manager’s files and folders: file names, web addresses (URLs), folders and dates To list your media, find unclear names, group files that were uploaded together, and propose names and folders Read in your dashboard through Wix APIs. Not stored by us. The parts sent to the AI service are listed below
Your site’s public pages (their HTML, as any visitor would see it) To find which images each page shows, so folders follow your site and unused files can go to Archive Fetched by the app’s backend while you scan. We look only for references to media files. Not stored by us
For each image sent to the AI: its URL, its file name and a short line about where it’s used on your site, plus your folder list and the language for the names So the AI can describe and name the image, and suggest a folder Sent to Anthropic (see “The AI service”). Not stored by us
If you use the AI assistant (Pro): your message, and a compact view of your review (folders, counts and sample file names) So the assistant can propose changes to your folders and names Sent to Anthropic. Not stored by us
Your settings (naming language, weekly tidy-up day and mode, a plan cache, the assistant’s monthly count, a summary of the last scan), a saved review draft, and undo batches (each affected file’s old and new name and folder) To keep your settings, to let you continue a review, and to let you undo a run In one collection in your site’s CMS, Media Organizer state, stored by Wix. It counts toward your CMS item quota
New file names and folders; folders left empty after a run That is what you asked the app to do Written to your Media Manager through Wix APIs. Empty folders go to the Media Manager’s trash
Your plan (Free or Pro), your site’s language and address To apply plan limits and choose the default language for names Read through Wix APIs when needed

The app never deletes a file, and never changes a file’s web address or content. It doesn’t read your orders, products, customers, members, contacts or payments.

File names and images can contain personal information, for example a photo of a person or a name in a file name. The app sends images to the AI service only when you run a scan or a tidy-up, and the Free plan names up to 20 files in total (Pro: 500 a month, Business: 1,000 a month). If you don’t want certain images processed, don’t run the app on that site.

Your visitors and members

The app reads no personal data about your site’s visitors or members. It adds no scripts, cookies or tracking code to your live site: it runs only inside your Wix dashboard, and its backend endpoints are called only from there.

How processing works

  • The app’s pages run inside your Wix dashboard. They read and write your Media Manager and the app’s CMS collection through Wix APIs, as the signed-in user and within the permissions you approved: read and manage the Media Manager, read and manage data items, and read basic site details.
  • The app’s backend runs on Wix’s servers as part of the app, not on servers we operate. It fetches your site’s public pages to find where files are used, asks the AI service to name your files, passes your assistant messages to the AI service, and sends the short usage and error events to our website. It keeps nothing else after it answers.
  • Each backend request checks that it comes from a signed-in user of your site’s dashboard.
  • We operate no server that receives or holds your files, names, folders or settings, and we don’t open or look at your files. The only data we hold is the usage and error log described below.
  • When the dashboard opens, it also loads a short public list of our other Wix apps from www.yairix.com, for a “More apps” section. That request contains no site, customer or account data. Like any web request, it reaches our website host (Wix) with technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which we don’t use to identify you.

The AI service (Anthropic)

The app uses the Claude AI, provided by Anthropic PBC, to describe your images, name your files, suggest folders and answer the AI assistant. This is the only third party that receives data from the app besides Wix.

  • What is sent: for naming, each image’s URL (the image is referenced by its link; we don’t upload a copy), its file name, where it’s used on your site, your folder list and the language for the names. For the assistant, your message and a compact view of your review. Nothing else from your site.
  • No training: Anthropic doesn’t use data sent through its API to train its models. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms, which may include keeping it for a limited time for safety and abuse prevention. See Anthropic’s Commercial Terms and Privacy Policy.
  • No copy with us: we don’t store what is sent or returned. The names and folders it proposes are shown to you, saved in your review draft on your site, and applied only if you apply them.

Usage and error logs

To find and fix bugs for a specific site, and to understand how the app is used so we can improve it, the app records short events in a private collection on our own Wix-hosted website (www.yairix.com).

  • What is recorded: your site ID and the app instance ID, your plan, the app version, the dashboard language, your browser type (user agent), and for each scan, apply or undo: counts (for example how many files were scanned, named, moved or failed) and how long it took. When something fails: the error code and a short technical message with file names, web addresses, emails and quoted text removed.
  • What is never recorded: file names, images or their addresses, folder names, page content, what you write to the AI assistant, your email or any data about your site’s visitors.
  • Who sees it: only us, in our Wix dashboard. The collection can’t be read by site visitors, and nothing is shared, sold or used for advertising.
  • How long: 90 days, then the events are deleted automatically.
  • Your choice: if you want the events of your site deleted earlier, email us with your site’s address.

Roles: you, Wix, Anthropic and us

  • You, the site owner, control your media and decide whether to run the app and use the AI features.
  • Wix hosts your site, your Media Manager, the app’s CMS collection and the app.
  • Anthropic processes the images and text described above, to name and organize your files, and returns the result.
  • We provide software that runs on your site and in your dashboard. We don’t receive or hold your files, names, folders or settings; we hold only the usage and error log, as its controller.

No sale or sharing

  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act).
  • We do not use any data or files from your site for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models, and the AI service doesn’t either.

This website

This website is hosted by Wix. We haven’t added analytics, advertising or tracking tools to it, and the pages don’t set cookies themselves. Like any web host, Wix processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and secure the site, as described in the Wix Privacy Policy. The studio contact form is covered by the Yairix Studio privacy policy.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and whatever you write, and use them only to reply and help you. Our email is provided by Google (Gmail), which processes messages under its own privacy terms. Please don’t send us your site’s files unless we need one to fix a problem.

Retention and deletion

  • Your files are never deleted by the app. They are renamed and moved, and files that aren’t used on any page go to an Archive folder. Folders left empty after a run move to the Media Manager’s trash, where Wix keeps them under its own rules and you can restore or delete them.
  • Undo batches are kept for 30 days and then removed. Undoing a run removes its batch.
  • A saved review draft is removed after a successful apply or when you start a new scan. Settings stay in the app’s collection for as long as the app is installed.
  • Data sent to the AI service is handled by Anthropic under its own terms (see above). We keep none of it.
  • Usage and error logs are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
  • Uninstalling the app stops all processing. The names and folders it applied stay in your Media Manager. Wix handles the app’s Media Organizer state collection on your site under its own rules for app data.
  • Support emails: kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, usually no longer than 24 months.

Security

The app accesses data only through Wix’s authenticated APIs, over encrypted connections, within the permissions you approved. Its backend checks every request and limits its size, and the key to the AI service is kept as a secret on Wix’s servers, never in the page. The app’s CMS collection can be read and written only by the signed-in dashboard user and the app, never by site visitors. Because we keep no copy of your files or names, the only developer-side data is the usage and error log, which holds no file names, images or text and is readable only by us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, and to data portability. In the EU and UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority; in Israel, to the Privacy Protection Authority. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). To exercise a right regarding information we hold about you (such as support emails or your site’s usage and error log), email us. We hold no information about your site’s visitors, members or customers: if you are one of them and want to access or delete your data, contact the site you used, which controls that data.

Children

The app is a business tool for site owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If the app or the law changes, we may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and highlight material changes before they take effect.
