Summary
- We collect personal information only when you contact us, and use it only to reply and to discuss your project.
- We don’t sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.
- Analytics (Wix Analytics, Google Analytics) and the Meta pixel load only if you accept them in the cookie question. Videos from YouTube load only if you choose to play them.
- The site and its contact form are hosted by Wix; our email runs on Gmail.
- The chat on the site is answered by an AI model through Wix. Conversations are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically.

Some policies are available in both English and Hebrew. If the two versions differ, the version in the language the policy was originally written in prevails.
Who we are
Yairix Studio is an independent studio in Jerusalem, Israel, that builds Wix apps and websites. For the information described here, Yairix Studio is the data controller (the “owner of the database” under Israeli law). Contact details are at the end of this policy.
Scope
This policy covers the Yairix Studio pages of this website (www.yairix.com), its contact form, and emails you send us. Each of our products (our Wix apps, browser extensions and plugins) has its own privacy policy, listed under Our products’ policies above.
What we collect

Please don’t send us sensitive information (for example health or financial details) or other people’s personal information.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and answer your questions.
- To discuss your project, prepare an estimate and, if we work together, communicate about the work.
- To keep a record of our correspondence.
- To answer your questions in the chat, and to read past conversations so we can improve the answers.
- To protect the form, the chat and the site from spam and abuse.
We don’t use your details for marketing, profiling or automated decisions.
Legal basis
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process this information because you asked us to (steps at your request before entering a contract), for our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries and running our business, and where needed to meet legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records. In Israel, we process it in line with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations.
Who processes it for us
- Wix.com hosts this website and stores contact form submissions in our Wix account, where they also appear as a contact, and sends us an email notification. See the Wix Privacy Policy.
- Analytics and advertising, only if you accept them: Wix Analytics, Google (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics) and Meta (the Facebook pixel). See Cookies.
- The chat's AI: your chat messages are sent through the Wix AI service to an AI model provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on our setting) to produce the answer. See the Wix Privacy Policy, the Anthropic Privacy Policy and the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Google provides our email (Gmail), which is where we receive notifications and reply to you. See the Google Privacy Policy.
We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Cookies, analytics and local storage
When you first visit, we ask once: “Accept all” or “Necessary only”. You can change it any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer or in the chat.
Necessary (always): to deliver and secure the site, Wix, which hosts it, and its infrastructure providers may set strictly necessary cookies (for example, to tell people from bots). The site keeps your consent choice, your accessibility toolbar preferences, dark mode and the chat on this device, in your browser’s local storage.
If you accept all:
- Analytics: Wix Analytics counts visits and page views, and Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) measures how the site is used. They use cookies or local storage and an anonymous visitor identifier. See the Wix Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Advertising: the Meta (Facebook) pixel lets us measure our ads and show ads to people who visited the site. See the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Videos: some pages include YouTube videos. They load from youtube-nocookie.com, where YouTube (Google) may set cookies or similar storage.
With “Necessary only” none of these load, and a video loads only when you choose to play it.
Retention
- Chat conversations: deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: deleted when no longer needed, usually within 24 months.
- Correspondence with clients: kept for the duration of the work and afterwards as long as needed for support and as required by law, for example tax and accounting rules.
International transfers
Wix, Google and the chat's AI providers may process information on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. They describe the safeguards they use for such transfers in their privacy policies.
Security
The site and form use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Submissions are stored in our Wix account and email in our Google account, both protected and accessible only to us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. In Israel, you have the right to review and correct information held about you under the Protection of Privacy Law. In the EU and UK, you may also complain to your data protection authority; in Israel, to the Privacy Protection Authority.
To make a request, email us. We respond within the time required by law and may need to verify your identity first.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not directed to children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
