Privacy policy — HomeFrame

This policy explains what the HomeFrame app for iPhone and iPad does with the information on your device.

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Summary

  • HomeFrame does not collect, transmit or store any data about you on our side.
  • The app has no server, no user account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
  • Your photos and home data stay on your device and in Apple's systems.

Who we are

HomeFrame is made by Yairix Studio, an independent studio in Jerusalem, Israel. This policy covers the app only; this website has its own privacy policy.

Photos and videos

With your permission, the app reads the album you choose in Photos to show it as a slideshow. Originals are never changed or deleted. Downscaled copies are cached on your device only and are excluded from backups. Files you choose to import are kept as a local copy inside the app.

Apple Home

With your permission, the app shows the rooms and accessories in your Apple Home and sends them the commands you trigger. This data passes only between your device and Apple's HomeKit, and is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Settings

Your preferences (album, pace, night view, favorites, hidden photos) are stored on your device only.

Sharing

We don't sell, share or transfer data, because we don't receive any. Sharing a photo or a link to the app happens only when you choose to, through the system share sheet.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Deletion

Deleting the app removes its settings, cache and imported files from your device. You can revoke Photos and Home access at any time in your device's Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
